New Balance 992 Gears Up in Gold and Grey

It’s been pretty obvious over the past few months that the 992 is involved heavily in the future plans of New Balance. The mythical silhouette rose to recent prominence thanks to a handful of drip-fed drops last year, a recent KITH exclusive, and Joe Freshgood’s epic All-Star Weekend collaboration. General releases, too, have flowed through steadily, with the silhouette even hitting the brand’s customizable NB1 program. Next to carry the torch (and it’s definitely bright enough) is this GR that’s geared-up in golden yellow.
The vibrant hue is found on the par’s mesh upper and all-over pigskin overlays, with classic New Balance greys complimenting the pair at the toe, tongue, ankle, and medial lacestay. Midfoot “N” motifs arrive in typical fashion, as does the beige and white midsole and black rubber outsole.
Fans of the silhouette can add this colorful concoction to their Summer rotations from September1st, with pairs set to arrive at select retailers like Foot Locker and Champsat 10:00 am ET on the day.
