The Quintessential New Balance 992 "Grey" Returns March 2025

New Balance is bringing back a true classic with the upcoming release of the Made in USA 992 in its signature grey colorway. Already available in select European markets and set to arrive in Asia on March 7th — with US dates to follow — this pair taps directly into the brand’s heritage, delivering a timeless look that reinforces New Balance’s long-standing dominance over the grey sneaker space.

On-par with the 2020 release, this design features a traditional light grey mesh and suede upper; The design stays true to the aesthetic that has defined New Balance for decades. Contrasting leather trim adds a refined touch, while metallic silver midfoot N motifs and a split-blocked midsole push the archival inspiration even further. A blend of white and beige across the sole unit adds a slight vintage feel, while a black rubber tread completes the design.
