Grey, Blue and Red New Balance 992 Arrives September 15th

The onslaught of Summer-scheduled New Balance 992s continues for a third straight day, with yet another colorway surfacing today.

Following on from earlier news of the Volt/Fawn/Blackand Plaid-popped pairscomes this more reserved release, one that homages New Balance’s historical aesthetic and hints at its patriot pride. Here, the pair works through tones of brown-grey up top, with mid-toned mesh contrasting against darker shades on the pigskin overlays — and lighter tones on the eyelets and tongues. ‘N’ motifs at the midfoot arrive light and bright, but it’s biggest eye-pop comes from the hits of red and blue cross the otherwise all-white midsole — perhaps a subtle nod to the upcoming Independence Day celebration. Outsoles also provide tonal greys, this time paired with black in the rear, a color that matches the pair’s insoles to complete the design.

Update 09.10.20 After a last-minute postponement back in May, this grey, blue and red New Balance 992 has been confirmed for release on September 15th, with retailers YCMC listing the pairs for a 10 am ET drop on the day!
