New Balance Reveal the Heritage-Inspired BB9000 Performance Shoe
It seems like only yesterday that New Balance announced their return to the performance hoops market, but in reality, the Boston-based brand has been back for a long minute. Delivering Kawhi’s signature sneaker alongside the debut OMN1S and most recently, the Two Wxy, the brand has been busy. Now New Balance looks to introduce a new model for 2021: the heritage and high fashion-inspired New Balance BB9000
Channeling retro classic in the 550 and 480, the debut offerings not only feature classic leather and mesh lines and designs but also link into heritage colorways — and even feature aged-look exposed foam tongues. Of course, that aesthetic is purely cosmetic, but there is still a whole lot of performance tech included, too. Returning below is the FuelCell tech employed previously by the OMN1S, Two Wxy, and KAWHI, while an undoubtedly lightweight construction contradicts the chunky retro vibe.
The first round of colorways will release at NewBalance.com and select retailers on April 1st, with more to follow throughout the calendar year and beyond. Grab a quick look at the debut colorways here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to the official HOUSE OF HEAT Twitter account for updates on their release.
