New Balance is firing on all cylinders.

Before a single day passed in 2026, the Boston-based brand introduced the 1080v15, the latest iteration of its beloved do-it-all running line. On the basketball side of things, the century-old institution kicked off its Quiet Noise campaign with launches of the P400 and P350 silhouettes. The brand also ushered in new baseball capsules ahead of the World Baseball Classic, showing love to tournament favorite Shohei Ohtani and his Japan squad, as well as other nations participating in the tournament.

There's still a lot of runway left in '26 for NB to showcase more of what it's been working on. Today, however, the company has decided to unveil a new everyday running silhouette that's been co-signed by NFL quarterback Josh Allen and Olympic gold-winning sprinter Gabby Thomas.

    Enter: New Balance Ellipse.

Off quick glance, the latest New Balance Running offering may be confused with another model from the institution's expansive catalog. Though heritage is infused into the shoe's design, Ellipse introduces a new franchise to market—one that's looking to help runners "lose track of time."

The catchphrase plays with the idea that athletes of all levels can rediscover the joy of running by wearing the New Balance Ellipse, thus, forgetting about time, distance, and pace. The company has looked to achieve its goal by providing a no-nonsense build that sees a full slab of Fresh Foam X and breathable, padded mesh upper come together for a reliable, enjoyable ride.

"The Ellipse celebrates all who run —whether logging their first miles or recovering after race day—by delivering an elevated cushioned experience and a rockered profile that helps keep things easy on the body," shared Kevin FitzPatrick, Global Vice President of Running at
New Balance. "It’s designed to motivate runners of all types to get out there and enjoy their run."

Ellipse sees an 8 millimeter drop from heel (37.9mm) to toe (29.9mm). It debuts in a "Medusa Green" color scheme for Men and Women.

Enjoy detailed shots of the all-new running shoe ahead. Pairs will begin popping up across global retailers and NewBalance.com on Thursday, March 5. Ellipse is priced at $140.
