Miu Miu and New Balance have unveiled their collaborative silhouette for Spring/Summer 2027: the RC150

Akin to other widely-popular projects from the partnership, the vintage performance model has spent a large chunk of time in the New Balance Archive. Born in the 1990s, the RC150 is a racing flat that got its name from its 150-gram weight (5.29 ounces). The franchise was in production up until the mid-2000s and was a go-to choice for devoted runners who enjoyed the flat's barefoot-feel. Some special pairs were even produced in England, bringing a lifestyle-approved, premium leather ensemble to the low-profile design.

Miu Miu's SS27 range champions the New Balance RC150's signature mesh-and-suede construction, remaining it via a medley of vibrant color schemes.

In true Miu Miu-fashion, the collaboration also sees a number of tweaks that further distance the footwear style from its running origins. Contrasting stitch lines run the entirety of the upper, bringing visual depth and more structure to the RC150 remake. A second set of dingy laces appear at the forefoot, looping through an extra set of lace holes found close to the midsole. Pearlized "N" logos appear on the profiles, while "Miu Miu NB" co-branding takes over the large labels on the tongue.

Some of the colorways previewed during Paris Fashion Week® include blue-and-yellow, red-orange-and-orange, white-and-blue, and white-and-red combinations.

Although Miu Miu's New Balances are made in Women's sizing, the RC150 has a Unisex appeal. South Korean star YEONJUN stepped out in a brown-colored pair while attending the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2027 Showcase earlier this month.
