Where to Buy the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 990v2

From all outward appearances, Salehe Bembury‘s creative output has dramatically lifted since his debut effort with New Balance back in 2021. The former YEEZY and Versace designer has left nothing in the tank on his efforts, putting his creative flair on everything from the 2002R and 574 Yurt, to his widely-loved collection with Crocs. Now he’s back in bed with New Balance, with the designer unveiling his latest design, the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 990v2.

A first teaser look at the new design shows a handful of Bembry’s signature characteristics, including wide-open mesh uppers, shaggy suedes, and chenille, all of which link back to the designer’s fixation of the beauty of the nation’s wilderness. It’s anchored in a clay-pink mesh, with tonal pink-tan suedes, leathers, and laces all forging the pair’s warm anchor. A more natural clay look is applied to the midsoles, with dark magenta outsoles linking back to the pops of purple up top on the pair’s brandmarks.
