No stranger to exclusive releases, Japans’ atmos has been quietly debuting store-special releases all year, from the “Flax” Forum Lows to this new White and Jade Air Max Plus. But while the former arrived in a transferable seasonal staple scheme, this new Air Max Plus brings atmos’ own heritage to the table.
Though it doesn’t come clad with their signature use of elephant print, this exclusive Air Max Plus is undeniably atmos-esque. It dons the infamous white, black, and jade scheme seen on notable atmos collaborations — most memorably, their 2006 Air Max 1. Though this is not technically a collaboration, it makes the world of sense to deliver it as an exclusive to the retailer, who, just yesterday dropped these gems at retail locations in Japan. A US release has not yet been identified, but given that several atmos-exclusives (like the aforementioned Forums) popped up on footwear sites in other markets, you may well find these hit select locations where atmos is not doing bricks and mortar business.
