Where to Buy the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Max 97 Collection

OG Post 01.21.22 //The universe that is COMME des GARÇONS is vast, with diffusions confusing the best of us — CdG SHIRT, BLACK, PLAY, HOMME PLUS — collectively known in the sneaker world as CDG. Here, it’s the HOMME PLUS division that returns to the footwear fold, celebrating the Air Max 97 in this, it’s 25th anniversary year, with not one, but two collaborative efforts on the silhouette for Fall 2022.

In stark contrast to the last CDG effort on an Air Max (the Air Max 95 from 2020) these offer a solid, clean construct, leaving the distressing to the worn-look, thick-cut overlays that are enhanced all the more when placed atop a study solid-color mesh upper. Options of washed blue and black have made themselves known at their recent runway show, the former anchored in bright whites, whilst the other opting for an all-over tonal approach.

Official looks at the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Max 97 have landed in it’s black colorway. A release date has not yet been set, but you should expect to hear an announcement soon. Dover Street Market has unveiled new product imagery for the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Max 97 collection ahead of an exclusive release at DSM and CDG stores on September 22. A wider Nike.com release is expected, though it is yet to be announced.
