The Air Max season is almost here, and just like every year, we can expect to see a considerable number of releases in the first few months of Spring. Among the new drops is the eye-catching “Yellow Tie-Dye” iteration of the Air Max 97, which has a striking coloring effect and ultra-minimal surrounds.

With the titular finish applied to the mesh upper, liner, and tongue, there’s little room for anything else. To keep things somewhat restrained, Nike has added solid-colored finishes to the sole unit, mudguard, and reflective overlays, each working through shades of white through yellow. Laces and pulls work in whites, while Swoosh insignia is delivered in a trio of hues, from lemon at the mid panel, golden yellow at the tongue, and vibrant orange on the insole.
