Denham x Nike Air Max 95 Honors the OG Neon With Their Signature Fabrications
It appears that Nike will be entertaining two Air Max options from Dutch denim house Denham, with the appearance of a secondary release doing the rounds on social media late yesterday. Of course, the fashion label’s take on the Air Max 1 has already drummed up some serious interest, and with a rumored 6,800 pair release that enthusiasm will likely multiply — also increasing your chasing at taking home a W on drop day. On top of that, we now have this Neon-inspired Denham x Nike Air Max 95 which once again enlists the brand’s favored fabrications.
Here, the typical OG suede layering and mesh uppers are swapped out for like-shades of black and grey-dyed denim, while equally durable canvas is affixed to the tongues and uppermost overlays. Jet-black denim then contrasts the varying twills across the toe box and mudguard, whose finish — from a distance — appears close to an oiled suede. Elsewhere you’ll find several similarities to the OG, including Neon eyelets and Swoosh brandings, similarly-styled Air Max tongue badges, and a sole unit that mimics the original. Capping off the design is the brand’s signature scribe on the liner, and a confetti of scissor motifs imprinted on the insoles.
Grab a quick look at the pair here, which, at this stage, is earmarked for release during Fall. Sit tight for word on its upcoming Nike.com launched, and make sure you’re locked into our official Twitter account for all future updates.
