Hey, Presto!
It was only a matter of time before the Presto got reborn with Nike’s new React tech — and thanks to Instagram’s on-look sneaker king, Yankee Kicks, today we get a first look at the Swoosh’s next big thing.
The React Hype is real, and these will be no exception, with the model features an updated design to allow for new materials, such as suede overlays on the heels and a reworked caging lacing system. That lacing system also comes with thicker laces, and it covers up an sock-like upper, with an entirely new shape.
But the biggest difference belongs to the molded React midsole, not too dissimilar to the one used on the React Element 87. It replaces the sneaker’s iconic foam unit.
Release details are very hazy at the moment, but we’re not expecting a release of the Nike Presto React until 2019.
