These Gold AM97’s have a touch of Italian inspiration

There’s yet another “Metallic Gold” Nike Air Max 97 on the way, but this release is special to a country that has a serious love for the silhouette.

Dressed in a Metallic Gold, White and University Red color scheme the new “Italy” Nike Air Max 97 keeps things classic with an all-Gold upper, Red branding, White midsole and Black outsole. But it’s the highlighting of the shoe is what makes the difference to the Italian natives.

The shoe’s pull-tabs come draped in an Italian flag themed blocking – some would even draw the comparison to Italian design powerhouse, Gucci.

At the moment, the Nike Air Max 97 “Italy” is set to release in Europe only on January 18th. We don;t yet have confirmation of a U.S. release. Stay tuned for updates.
