Known for his off-court love of fishing, gaming, and car collecting, Paul George has managed to work his passions outside of the arena into his signature sneaker line with Nike. His well-documented PlayStation collaborations have been amongst his finest work, with a handful of fishing-inspired releases in there, too. Now his love for cars comes into play — in a miniature sense, at least —with the revelation of the Hot Wheels x Nike PG 6.
Housing Ferrari Spiders, Range Rovers, and more, PG simply couldn’t pick one car company to collaborate with — so why not a brand that showcases them all? Like many of us, Paul started his love for four-wheelers from the Hot Wheels replicas when he was a young lad, making this link-up as authentic as the aforementioned with PlayStation. Here, the release literally looks to the brand for inspiration, with chequered tongues, flaming Swooshes and insoles, and co-branded tags; it even features a car decal-inspired #13 on the medial side and comes housed in special packaging.
A release date for this new Hot Wheels x Nike PG 6 is not yet known, but with official images of the pair becoming available, one would suggest that a release is imminent.
