When it comes to collaborators, there’s probably none more notorious than Jeff Staple. After all, his first-up effort on the Nike Dunk in 2005 shut down New York City’s Lower East Side, sending in Riot Police and media outlets alike. After reworking the Dunk back in 2017, Jeff and his Staple Design label return to the Swoosh, this time joining forces with Singapore’s Sabotage on the Air Force 1. Following a teaser look at the upcoming “Tiger Camo” take on the Uptown just a few days back, Jeff has followed it up with a full revelation — including it’s $0.00 price tag.
Yep, you read that right.
30 pairs have been individually handmade by the skilled hands of Sabotage, and it was mutually decided that there will be no price tag attached to this release — instead, they’re letting the public determine the value.
It joins an epic roster of end-of-year collabs on the uptown, which includes the recently-released Travis Scott “Cactus Jack”, three CLOT efforts, the previously-previewed A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1, the upcoming PEACEMINUSONE x Nike’s Air Force 1 “Para-Noise,” a New York City Parks pair, and Lauren Halsey’s Community-centered release. Sheesh!
