Nike’s long-running fascination with film and tech continues to influence its sneaker lineup. From recent Air Max 1 nods to GoldenEye 007 and Donkey Kong, the Swoosh has been steadily blurring the lines between sneaker culture and pop culture. Now, it’s the kids' turn, as Nike prepares a special-grade school edition of the Air Force 1 Low channeling unmistakable Matrix-style digital graphics.
This edition of the classic low-top silhouette arrives dressed in all-black, with vibrant green glitch graphics stitched across the mid panels and heel — mimicking cascading code straight out of The Matrix. A matching volt green tongue logo and mini Swoosh on the lateral toe amplify the theme. The visual chaos continues inside with distorted glitch-style insoles in neon and static hues, adding a surprise twist underfoot.

Despite the tech-heavy appearance, the shoe keeps to traditional AF1 construction with leather uppers and standard Nike Air cushioning. It’s a unique mix of nostalgia and futurism — aimed at the next generation.
The kids’ Nike Air Force 1 Low “Matrix” is expected to be released this Fall through Nike.com and select retailers.
