Kids Nike Air Max 97 “Safari” Surfaces in Black and Orange

While we eagerly await the return of some original colorways for the Air Max 97’s 25th anniversary, Nike continues to pepper in new and exciting colorways in the foreground; the next of which continues a recurring theme for the brand which has returned to favor in 2022.

First revealed here in kids sizing, the Nike Air Max 97 “Safari” joins other Air Max models in the 1, 90, and 95 in donning Tinker’s famous prints, though here it’s done stealthily through tonal blacks across the mudguards. The twist, though, is that these are fully reflective, serving as a juxtaposed finish to the outwardly black-on-black appearance. Its all-black exterior is then struck with bright orange medial overlays and Swooshes, with Air supports following suit.

A release date for this new Nike Air Max 97 “Safari” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming months.
