A Big Kids' Nike Shox R4 "Soft Pearl/Hydrangeas" Is on the Way

Nike Sportswear's revival of the Shox R4 will soon feature a "Soft Pearl/Hydrangeas" color scheme exclusively for Kids.

Uncommon of proper reissues, the choice to offer a pair in Big Kids' sizing is likely a push to further cement the early aughts design in the sneaker pantheon. Over the past three years, the Swoosh conglomerate has done the same thing with new Air Max designs. Both franchises don visible technology, which could be appealing to newcomers to the sneaker space.

For its latest update to the original Nike Shox, the Oregon-based institution has employed a "Soft Pearl" finish across the upper, coupling it with spring-friendly pastel accents. Purple animates everything from the inner lining to the outsole underfoot, allowing for a "Celestine Blue" to claim the piston-shaped cushioning at the heel.
