Although often considered a frequently-disposable staple, the Nike Air Force 1 is no stranger to premium, luxury finishes. From collaborations with leading designers CDG and John Elliot, the sneaker has seen some simple-yet-seductive transformations. Their mainline releases are not immune to a premium overhaul either, and with the brand’s new Air Force 1 Craft lineage, it appears that the upscale Uptown may become a more consistent commodity.
The new Nike project appears to focus primarily on the improvement of baseline qualities instead of frivolous finishes, as premium tumbled leathers and top-tier textiles take the place of the usual materials. First up we see two white-based options and one black, all of which offer up a premium tumbled leather construction paired with intriguing hee overlays. The first white-based pair comes equipped with parquet-like debossing on the rear overlay, whilst the other two options feature straight-up shaggy suede. Other upgrades include unique tongue tags, elegant dubraes, and exposed leather tags at the heel.
Pairs of the Nike Air Force 1 Craft have already landed in select countries around the globe, so you should expect to see these three options hitting Nike.com near you very soon. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates, and until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pairs here below.
