Nike’s sustainability initiative is starting to show on almost every Swoosh silhouette you can think of. From Crater Foam Forces to Grind Rubber-geared Air Maxes, recyclable, reusable materials have made their presence felt in their footwear divisions. The next to appear is another Air Force 1equipped with Grind Rubbers, neon pops, and retro-inspired liners.
This black-based option arrives constructed in heavily tumbled leather and capped with Volt Swooshes for maximum contrast. Recycled rubbers grace the traditional white outsole, as well as the heel overlays. More Volt veneers the tongue, heel, insole, and midsole branding, before the pair’s most intriguing finish — its liners — come into play. Here they arrive in a print oft seen on early 90’s tennis attire in hues of teal, black, and volt.
Expect to see these arrive in men’s, women’s, and kids’ sizes over the coming months alongside a slew of accompanying color options. As for these, you’ll have to sit tight for information on their release — so make sure you keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
