The Air Force 1 High Appears in Another 40th Anniversary Colorway

The 40th Anniversary of the Air Force 1 has been celebrated in many ways, from toothbrush-wielding releases, to releases that honor cultural communities that helped build its reputation. Another pack that has been prominent is this four-starred “40” series, with a handful of Lows and Highs appearing over the past few weeks. Now another High has appeared, and it once again continues the overarching theme of white, gold, and green.

Tumbled leather uppers of green are juxtaposed by bright white Swooshes, heel overlays, laces, and sole units, with few instances of black breaking up the two-tone release. Of those, the most prominent is the forefoot Mini Swoosh and midsole brand mark. Just above the latter is the pack’s debased four-star motif, with pack-specific elements like golden eye stays and dubraes rounding out the design.

Hinting at an impending Nike.com release soon, official images of the pair have landed, though a confirmed date has not yet been set.
