Aside from the silhouette’s special-edition releases, it’s been business as usual for the Air Force 1 and its GR drops throughout its 40th year. The next in queue looks to an opposing pro sport for inspiration, with this Nike Air Force 1 High “Patriots” cherry-picking the franchise hues for its color scheme.

Here, the high-top trainer takes on an all-grey leather upper, with tonal nylon tongues, laces, and dubraes to match. From there, muted navy hues hit the straps, Swooshes, liners and outsoles; the latter resting below a classic white midsole. Lastly, pops of bright red are peppered throughout the pair’s brand marks to complete the design.

This isn’t the first time the Patriots theme has appeared on the Air Force 1, with the franchise officially appearing on a handful of Ultras back in 2020.

Hinting at an impending Nike.com release soon, official images of the pair have landed, though a confirmed date has not yet been set.
