With 2022 marking the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1, you’d expect Nike to go all-out on the silhouette, collaboration, limited-edition, or otherwise. And whilst the former category is yet to gain substantial members, this next Nike Air Force 1 Low “Carabiner” ostensibly looks to Acronym for inspiration — and it’s just appeared in a second colorway.
Akin to the white pairing, this too features the titular carabiner Swoosh tooling placed atop the profilings panels. Here, though, it’s delivered in a striking iridescent finish, with pops of neon fluttered throughout that scream Acronym in both palette and component. This utilitarian aesthetic continues with zip-pocket tongues crafted in ripstop. The remainder of the sneaker is fairly reserved, with a staple black leather construct and white sole unit completed by Photo Blue leather Swoosh and black rear overlays — the former shortened in length to highlight the pair’s champion caging.
Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see pairs of this utilitarian Nike Air Force 1 Low “Carabina” arrive at select retailers soon. While we await further details, grab a quick look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep our eyes glued to our official Twitter accountfor updates.
