Nike will continue its series of retro sportswear-inspired footwear with this new “Chenille Heel” Air Force 1 Low that’s reminiscent of 90’s outwear and classic varsity jackets.
One of three college-inspired colorways to appear, this option in white and red is reminiscent of classic Air Force 1s past. The heel is capped in vintage chenille, while Swooshes, liners, and tongues all don a tonal Gym Red hue. White branding at the tongues, insoles, and heels complete the varsity feels — but there are still more details to be found. Midpanels of off-white textile is reminiscent of vintage prep style, while aged-look sole units add to the retrospective flair.
