The Air Force 1 never ceases to amaze us, with the pair’s seemingly limitless blocking options enabling the silhouette to bring fresh new takes on a weekly basis. Once more, the Beaverton team has delivered a new twist on Bruce Kilgore’s bonafide classic, this time decking out a staple construct with 3M reflective mesh mid panels.
The first of two colorways to surface today, this too arrives in a fairly unassuming scheme. The pair boasts a simple smooth bone (nylon) construct through the majority, with lightly tumbled leather finishes applied to both the Swoosh and toe box. The aforementioned mesh mid-panel arrives in tonal hues, as do the reflective heel overlays, mesh tongues, liners, and laces. The latter is fitted with lineal 3M detail as the last subtle accents before hits of golden yellow cover the tongue, heel, and midsole branding. Lastly, the pair is rested atop a bone midsole and black rubber outsole to complete the design.
