It’s hard to reinvent the wheel over and over and over again. but Nike still finds news ways to update the Uptown without it ever feeling overdone. Having seen some adventurous editions of late, the evergreen Air Force 1 Low reverts back to basics for this three-piece back, opting for classic white and black leather bases. But what it lacks in material and color makeups, it makes up for in extra embellishments. Double-stacked “AIR” branding at the heel rises up onto the quarter, and does so in a protruding plastic. Heel branding also arrives in the same fashion. Excessive tongue tags cascade down from the tip to the toebox, and is met by an extra toe overlay — of course, branded with Nike Air Force 1 motifs.

Three options of this double-stacked Air Force 1 are on the way, a white/black, a black/white and a white/barel volt version, al of which are pictured below. The double-take editions will be available very soon for $110 a pop.
