Nike is doing the most with the Air Force 1 for its 40th anniversary, from collaborations with Drake and Louis Vuitton to toothbrush-wielding Anniversary releases. The silhouette’s mainline release schedule is delivering quality, too, like this upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Grey Mesh” that utilizes multiple materials and tonals hues to full effect.
As the title suggests, the pair is clad in mesh, though it’s not your typical weave, with gaping-wide holes revealing a netted finish throughout the pair’s upper. It’s then covered in tonal grey canvas, with Swoosh overlays then opting for suede — again in grey. Sole units, tongues, laces, and liners — and even the branding — all opt for grey-on-grey finishes, before a diamond-encrusted dubrae set rounds out the design.
While an official release date for this double-Swooshed Nike Air Force 1 Low “Grey Mesh” has yet to be revealed, the surfacing of product imagery would suggest that a release is on the way. Until more news arrives, grab a very first look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
