Like many basketball-specific sneakers from the bygone era, the Air Force 1 has become more impactful off the court than on it. But if you know about the sneaker’s history and the history of the sport behind it, you’ll recognize that the sneaker is a testament to the brand’s “Just Do It” mentality — and now Nike is reminding you of that in a literal sense with this snakeskin-clad Nike Air Force 1 “Just Do It” — the latest in a wider series of slogan-celebrating releases.
The second-up Air Force 1 aligns itself with one of the pack’s present themes, with premium leathers and snakeskins, jewel dubraes, neon tongue branding, and jersey mesh tongues. Here, the pair leans heavily on snakeskin and patriotic accents for character, with the former dressing the toe and quarter overlays and deep red Swooshes joining navy blue laces and heel overlays for the pair’s most present color pops. 3M piping around the Checks, heels, and mid panels give the pair some extra pizazz, before white and sail sole units literally spell out the title to complete the design.
Though the official images of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Just Do It” have landed, a release date has not been identified — but you should expect to see these released alongside a slew of same-theme designs from Nike Sportswear this summer. While we await further details, grab a detailed look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep our eyes glued to our official Twitter accountfor further updates on its release
