Though there’s been plenty of noise around the model’s 40th-anniversary offerings, the Air Force 1’s mainline releases have been quietly peppering out some absolute bangers in the background. This new Nike Air Force 1 Low “Picante Red” is one such release.

Arriving in classic blocking seen on many efforts from the turn of the century, the pair looks to only two tones throughout. Crimson, the pair’s title, makes up the majority of the pair, with smooth leather uppers, nylon tongues, laces, and outsoles adding the red-hot hue. White is used sparingly but to great effect, as it provides striking pops of contrast at the tongue and heel branding, Swoosh underlays, and midsoles to complete the design.

While an official release date for this double-Swooshed Nike Air Force 1 Low “Picante Red” has yet to be revealed, the surfacing of product imagery would suggest that a release is on the way.
