The way that Nike’s designers can continue to reinvent the Air Force 1 is sheer wizardry. You’d think — by now — that they’d surely be short on ideas, but time and time again, the Beaverton fam deliver something fresh and new. Take this aptly-titled Air Force 1 “Rough Green”, which brings with it bold textures, muted colors, reflective hits, and very unique construction.

Each traditional panel unrecognizable through split blocking and material mix, with everything from suede toes and eyestays, to alternating leather slots, 3M reflective finishes, and woven textile. All of this arrives with significant texture and color contrast, with beige-bone, Rough Green making up the majority before Olive Aura Checks cap off the traditional elements. Added tack stitching at the tongue tags and heels adds even more juice to the DIY theme, while the most simple of sole units arrives underfoot to complete the design.

Though a drop date for the Air Force 1 Low “Rough Green” has not yet been confirmed, you should expect to see pairs rolling out at select Swoosh stockists soon.
