Nike continues to deliver fresh new takes on its iconic Air Force 1 silhouette for its 40th anniversary — seemingly daily — the next of which looks to classic contrast blocking of white and grey with more than a few twists and turns along the way.
Ditching a staple smooth leather construct in favor of a hardened, textured finish, the pair’s wear is immediately intended for rougher weather. Add to that a set of reflective Swooshes and heel overlays for low-light visibility, It’s easy to see that Nike has considered more than just the rain. There are new mesh tongues and added utilitarian pulls, too, as well as an added forefoot mini Swoosh — again in gunmetal. All of this rests atop a solid white sole unit to complete the design.
At this stage, there are no release details provided for this all-new Air Force 1 Low, but you should expect more news to filter through soon — so be sure to keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for further updates. Until then, grab an official look at the pair here below.
