Another Celebratory Air Force 1 Appears for it’s 40th Anniversary

We’ve seen a lot from the Air Force 1 in this, it’s 40th anniversary season, from “Anniversary Edition” releases to special themed collections like this one; But this is the first time that the celebratory pack has sprouted a Mid-cut of the model.

Like the many Lows and Highs before it, this pair sports a bevy of shared elements, including 40-insignia debossed at the heel, 82-22 insole motifs, and special “1” branding at the tongue. It also focuses on premium tooling, with butter leather constructs and golden accents to celebrate the silhouette’s birthday. Here, it hones in on sail, brown, and green hues, as has been the case the majority of the collection thus far.
