The Air Force 1 Has More in Store for its 40th Anniversary Celebration

We’ve seen a lot from the Air Force 1 in this, it’s 40th anniversary season, from “Anniversary Edition” releases to special themed collections like this one; But this is the first time that the celebratory pack has sprouted a Mid-cut of the model.

Like the many Lows and Highs before it, this pair sports a bevy of shared elements, including 40-insignia debossed at the heel, 82-22 insole motifs, and special “1” branding at the tongue. It also focuses on premium tooling, with butter leather constructs and golden accents to celebrate the silhouette’s birthday. Here, it hones in onrich royal blue and contrasting white hues, with pops of golden-yellow to really harness that celebratory feel.
