Sneaker customization has been a recent focus for Nike and their staple silhouettes, with everything from wear- and tear-aways to interchangeable Swooshed pairs providing sneakerheads with varying levels of DIY tweaking. Their most recent effort, the aptly titled Air Force 1/1, gives wearers the option to mix and match paneling and patches to create their own flair. Now, after having released in a staple white-based release, a black-based Christmas-like release has arrived.
Dropping earlier today in Japan, this tumbled black leather-based Nike Air Force 1/1 is quick to reveal its festive spirit with striking red Velcro uppers and an accompanying set of green Swoosh and rear overlays — as well as red laces — available to mix and match as you please.
Though a US release date is yet to be revealed, it’s, unfortunately, likely that pairs won’t arrive in time for Christams. They are expected to arrive in January, so be sure to keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter accountfor further updates on its release.
