With the silhouette’s 40th anniversary now done and dusted, one would expect that things would slow down for the Air Force 1and its many variant designs. But the story so far does not indicate that, in fact, you can expect much the same — if not more — from 2023. And now the newest of which has just appeared: the Nike Air Force 1 PLT.AF.FORM “Snakeskin”
Redesigned with the ladies in mind, the model boasts a sleek body and sole unit akin to the Air Force 1 Low Sage. There are splits stacked into the sole’s heel, in-cut Checks at the midfoot complete with oversized Swoosh overlays atop that, and rough-cut eyestay and heel overlays added to the makeshift-style design. Color-wise, the pair presents as part of a running Nike Sportswear pack that includes a big focus on earthy brown snakeskins, with the titular texture covering the entirety of the upper, save the tonal Swoosh leather overlays. A simple sail sole unit sits underfoot to complete the design.
A release date for this new pastel-popped Nike Air Force 1 PLT.AF.FORM “Snakeskin” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com soon.
