Joining the “Keep ‘Em Fresh” Air Force 1 and “Flip The Old School” Dunk Low for Spring comes a third tissue-wrapped Nike sneaker, this just-unveiled Air Force 1 Shadow “Goddess of Victory”
This offering of the Nike Air Force 1 Shadow is a tribute to Nike’s name origins. Nike, the Greek Goddess of Victory, has been depicted in many ways, with Grecians typically turning to stone and marble as their medium. Having graced many statues and carvings throughout history it seems only fitting that this release does so, too, featuring faux marble uppers, stone Swooshes, and textured outsole trim that mimic a masterpiece. The tissue shroud gets more literal, with both wording at the ankle and graphics depicting the goddess in a blue hue. Those illustrations continue onto the sneaker beneath, with matching imagery arriving on the tongue and insoles, too. Completing the design is a marbelized dubrae set to further the statue aesthetic.
