Nike Air Force 1 Shell Surfaces in “Bone”

For the last few years, Nike’s Fall footwear catalog has been overhauled with a bevy of retooled Air Force 1 options for Winter that encourage all-condition wear. This year alone is chock-full of GORE-TEX Air Force 1s, winterized Air Force 1 Boots, and now the return of the Nike Air Force 1 Shell — here in “Bone”

Here, the high-rise redesign looks to its titular hue for coloration of the ‘shell’ nylon coverall, reaching from the toe to the heel, up above the ankle, and over the eyestays. It’s all encased in a muted tan textile guard — a measure taken to thwart out any moisture making its way in through the seam — and is color-matched by accents like contrast stitching at the heel, and its pulls. There’s a slew of sail placements, including the Swooses, soles, and tongues, before the pair is finished by a handful of orange-popped ankle tags on both the medial and lateral sides.
