There’s a New Nike Air Max 90 “Batman” Coming in 2022

If there’s one recurring theme that gets this writer excited, it’s the Air Max line’s obsession with the Dark Knight. Almost every classic Air Max model has received the Bruce Wayne treatment, but none more than the line’s third model, and once again we find ourselves looking at a new iteration of the Air Max 90 “Batman” for 2022.

This 90 keeps the Batman theme brimming with a black, grey, and yellow arrangement that is one of the most striking in recent times. Contrast is heavy, with uppers of black working against light grey leather overlays, bright yellow pops, and piercing white midsoles, all in evenly balanced measure. Its material makeup is new, too, with ripstop uppers and hardened mudguards joining a slew of typical textiles — in fact, it’s almost identical in build to the recently-revealed “Buck Hunter” colorway.

A release date for this new Air Max 90 “Batman” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming weeks.
