Nike Delivers a Sleek Sail and Red Selection of the Air Max 90

With the marquee Air Max 90 “Infrared” release for 2020 now in the rearview mirror, Nike now has its sights set on something a little more modern for the 30-year-old icon. Simple in its approach, this all-new AM90 arrives in a mostly tonal arrangement, with sails and whites working in unison across a myriad of materials for contrast. Uppers arrive in a sail ripstop-like blend, while leather overlays, eyelets, and branding panels all arrive in color-matched finishes. The outsole, too, arrives in sail, though it is wedged with a clean white midsole to highlight the subtle differences in shade. Capping off the design are a handful of accents in a striking red, with tongue, insole, and rear branding joining the sighted Air supports in the heated hue.
