The Air Max 90 Black/Hyper Royal is Releasing Soon

We’re over the halfway point now of the 30-year celebrations for the Nike Air Max 90 but Nike is showing no signs of slowing the party down as we’re presented with yet another new colorway for the silhouette. After releasing a recent wave of white-based options for the Summer, we’re now beginning to see the first round of dark-based drops as we prepare for Fall and Winter, lead off by this Black and Royal banger.

From the outset, we are bestowed upon with a typical build from the AM90 using a plethora of various materials, each adorned in black in assorted tonal variations across the overlays. Mesh, nubuck, suede, plastic, and rubber across the build result in a textural delight, while underfoot and ensuring a comfortable ride one can expect from the shoe sits an all-black mid and outer sole featuring a signature clear Air unit. Completing the design and offering the only splash of color over the entire build is the royal blue hits on an Air Max-branded panel situated on the medial, the uppermost eyestays, and if you look closely enough, the diagonal reinforcement stitching across the midfoot and the tack-on stitching on the rear overlays.
