Nearly three decades after its debut, the silhouette remains a global staple, shaped as much by local communities as by Nike’s original design intent. This four-pair capsule brings that idea to the forefront, highlighting regions where the Air Max 95 has become part of everyday culture.

Air Max 95 “Atelier” (Paris)

The “Atelier” colorway takes inspiration from Paris’ evolving creative spaces, often referred to as the city’s “third spaces,” where artists, designers, and collectives collaborate outside traditional studios. The pair features a soft neutral gradient across the upper that fades seamlessly into the Air Max 95’s signature black midsole. The understated palette reflects Paris’ balance of refinement and function, positioning the shoe as both expressive and wearable.

Air Max 95 “Hong Kong”

The “Hong Kong” colorway draws directly from the city’s high-energy streets and iconic neon glow. Red gradient tones dominate the upper, echoing the illuminated signage that defines Hong Kong after dark. Mixed materials and layered textures reference the city’s constant exchange of ideas, capturing a sense of motion and creative friction that fuels its cultural identity.

Air Max 95 “I-95” (Baltimore)

Rooted in Baltimore’s bike life and community culture along the I-95 corridor, the “I-95” colorway takes a more utilitarian approach. The shoe arrives in an all-black upper accented by metal eyelets, emphasizing durability and purpose. It’s a nod to the strength and resilience found in local street culture, where the Air Max 95 has long been part of the uniform.

Air Max 95 “Seongsu” (Seoul)

Inspired by Seoul’s Seongsu neighborhood—known by subway number 211—the “Seongsu” colorway reflects the area’s transformation from industrial roots to a modern creative hub. The upper is dressed in expressive grey tones with black accents, while red laces provide contrast inspired by the district’s reimagined warehouses and studios. The result blends heritage and innovation, mirroring the neighborhood itself.
