Cleverly-Contrasted White Air Max 95 is Available Now
After a bevy of bold-color, popping-print and split-blocked options, the 25th anniversary Air Max 95 is tuning down the volume on the fan-favorite silhouette with a clean White and Black rendition. But it’s not as simple as turning up the brightness — the Beaverton design team has taken their time to select a varied range of textured materials to complete the pair for ultimate effect.
With black reserved only for the pair’s branding, the contrast between each white panel is the pair’s most fundamental principle. Here, you’ll find a classic mesh upper paired with varying synthetic and leather layovers, with each providing its own distinct texture. Eyelet netting is unique, too, arriving in a loosely woven cross-weave akin to that seen on hessian. Underfoot you’ll find an all-white sole unit, and the pair is complete with a retro-inpired tongue badge (as opposed to the original embroidery), white liners, and white insoles.
Pairs of these cleverly-contrasted Air Max 95s have already landed overseas, so you should expect to see these hit the States sometime soon. Until then grab an official look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for further updates on the pair.
