Air Max 97 options are appearing thick and fast as we enter the early months of the silhouette’s 25th anniversary. The next pair at the plate arrives in a militaristic make, and appears to boast heavy influence from UNDEFEATED — after all, it is a silhouette the LA retailers know all too well.
Here, jet black mesh uppers work with olive tongues for an intriguing use of blocking. It’s further enhanced by sweeping copper-orange overlays across the top half, whilst rich olive leathers work over the lower. All of this rests atop a striking white midsole that houses orange Air supports, and a jet black rubber outsole. The pair is then finished off with Swoosh embroidery of orange, and signature 3M finishes throughout.
