The Nike Air Max 97 Appears in Black, Olive and Purple

Though it’s often associated closely with the bright colors of summer, on occasion, the Air Max 97 dived deep into muted palettes for more Fall-friendly wear. As is the case for this new black, olive, and purple presentation, which not only boasts an atypical mix of hues, but also a new set of materials, too.

Dressed in a gridded — almost ripstop-like — textile upper, the pair looks to overlays of olive and purple is textured suedes. Mudguards of black weave host hardened mid panels — also of black — that sport purple mini Swooshes. Underfoot is relatively simple, with bright white midsoles, muted purple Air supports, and black rubber outsoles, with psychedelic Nike branding at the tongue and purple insoles rounding out the design.

A release date for this new Air Max 97 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming months.
