Ladies can be on the lookout for a fresh new flex this Fall, with Nike set to release a special-edition Air Max 97 “Black Sequin” that is — you guessed it — covered from the toe-to tail in the shimmering finish.
Though arriving in an all-black makeup, save the select scarlet branding hits, differing textiles across the panels provide significant contrast. Here, a snakeskin-like upper arrived complete with a netted finish, while its plush tongues arrive in a jewel-flecked fabrication. The pair’s overlays and branded mid-panel feature the titular finish, before arriving on a matte, murdered-out sole unit filled with blood-red Air support shanks. Completing the premium pair is a set of special metallic red Swoosh dubraes, velvet tongue tags, and jeweled rear pulls.
