The all-new Air Max 97 “Bright Side” is the next Nike sneaker to join what is expected to be a wider collection of corduroy-clad colorways to release in early 2022.

Joining a handful of recently-revealed releases in both theme and scheme, the pair boasts a similar mix of materials and earthy hues. Here, it’s olive suede uppers that host a slew of subtle suede overlays, from tonal greens to summery yellows, peaches, and pinks, all of which keep in theme with the collections’ fly-off stitch finish. Mid panels and ribbed tongues boast a beige finish before bright white midsoles host multi-color Air supports and gritty Grind Rubber gum outsoles underfoot. Back up top, bright and colorful brand marks are juxtaposed by muted pink laces, and earthy liners and insoles, the latter again featuring the collection’s constant “Look on the Bright Side” branding to round out the design.
