As one of Nike’s most popular retro lifestyle models, the Air Max 97 is always in high demand. The always in-vogue model has been noticeably absent from the brand’s aptly-titled “Certified Fresh” collection, but at last, the Christian Tresser-designed silhouette has got the Swoosh’s stamp of approval.
A first look at the Nike Air Max 97 “Certified Fresh” shows a similar theme to others from the collection, with pastel hues, soft suedes, and aged-look accents all present. The latter hit the classic gum-capped sole unit, whilst premium leathers, suedes, and nylon uppers all arrive in vintage-look finishes. Hues work mostly in cream and are joined by minty greens, sky blues, and blue-greys throughout, with Nike’s seal of approval hitting the insoles to complete the design.
A release date for this new Nike Air Max 97 “Certified Fresh” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com during the Fall 2022 season.
