Nike Air Max 97 “Cracked Gold” Arrives April 6

After a noticeable slow-down in its releases, the Air Max 97appears to be back in full swing with another new option appearing for the back-end of 2021 — this one slicker than your average. We’ve titled it the Air Max 97 “Cracked Gold” for obvious reasons, with the glittery finish applied to the pair’s lowermost overlays and mudguards. Uppers arrive in gold, too, with mesh featuring a metallic finish, and to a lesser extent at the mid panel. Reflective overlays arrive in a tonal matte hue, with the last of the golden finishes found stowed away inside the Air system. From there, black mesh tongues and liners are met with OG-inspired silver laces, with the two hues mimicked at the midfoot Swoosh and two-tone sole unit to complete the design.
