Never letting up from its relentless release schedule, the Air Max 97 continues to deliver a healthy dose of options for any rotation — no matter the season. Though it may have missed the boat (damn COIVD) this next-up edition is a perfect flex for that late-Summer to early Fall transition, with both crisp whites and neutrals merging together for a clean cross-seasonal sneaker.
Here, heavy-duty white mesh uppers are met with reflective upper overlays of cream, while its lowermost white leathers are met by neutral suedes. Midpanels of mesh arrive in fawn and present a striking jet black Swoosh for ultimate contrast. The flash of darkness pops up again at the toe and heel of the outsole, which is — again — done in fawn. Crips whites at the misole and air supports separate the rubber from the upper, and the pair is capped off with Nike’s signature orange at the tongue and insoles.
A release date for the pair has not yet been announced, but you can expect to see more information hit the airwaves over the coming days and weeks —so be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for that. Until then, you can grab an official look at this upcoming release here below.
