This New Nike Air Max 97 Features Floral Insoles

The Air Max 97 is building up a full head of steam ahead of Air Max Month this March in a year in which the silhouette celebrates its 25th anniversary. Now it finds itself part of a sporadically-released Nike Sportswear pack that features a shared color scheme and Spring-friendly floral insoles.

Anchored on metallic silver mesh uppers — an ostensible nod to the OG — the pair then ushers in a slew of soft hues across its overlays, including mint, blue, yellow, and red, with white leather guards, midsoles, laces, and liners providing bright white surrounds. Underfoot things get a bit murky, with dark blue Air supports stowed away, and black rubber outsoles underfoot — but all of that changes on the inside, with the aforementioned graphic florals finishing the design.

A release date for this new Nike Air Max 97 “Floral” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming months.
